Important Message to our Community:
As we have always been, Piper Funeral Home is here to help and support our community when needed. This has not changed in light of the COVID-19 pandemic announced by the CDC.
Please know that we consider your health a priority during this time of uncertainty and rapid change and are committed to providing a safe environment for the families we serve as well as our community. In accordance with Gov. Laura Kelly's announcement of Phase 2 beginning May 22, 2020, we will be limiting funeral attendance to less than 15 individuals (additional attendees may be allowed as long as the six foot social distancing protocol is followed as per current state directive) until state and county ordinance permits otherwise. Some counties we serve may have different restrictions than those announced by the state of Kansas. Any additional information will be posted within the affected obituary. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding while assisting us in complying with this order.
While cleanliness has always been a top priority for us, know that we will be paying extra close attention to high-touch surfaces such as restrooms, countertops, and door handles. As an extra precaution, we will limit physical contact with families and guests. Understand that direct eye contact, loving words, and a warm smile are intended with equal compassion.
If you have concerns about attending a funeral or memorial service, please consider leaving a heartfelt message on the individual’s Tribute Wall within our website.
For your convenience, we have included the following official CDC links to keep you informed on how to prevent the spread of viruses:
Please call ahead (785-437-2222) if you need to come into the office as we will be limiting entry to those who have a need.
Please do not hesitate to call us if you have any additional questions.
We appreciate the trust you place in us when choosing our family to serve yours.
