Rossville—Lucinda C. “Cindy” Mitchell, 63, passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2021, near Rossville, from injuries she suffered in an auto accident. The love of her life, Chris, was injured in the same accident.
Cindy was born to Jesus Perez and Mary Lucille Tostado Barranco on October 8, 1957, in Topeka. Cindy graduated from Seaman High School in 1975.
She worked for Adams Business Forms, Standard Hart Printing, and Prairie Band Casino.
Cindy was preceded in death by her parents.
On March 17, 1982, she was married to Christopher M. “Chris” Mitchell in Topeka. He survives. When you saw one, you would be sure to see the other.
Other survivors include three daughters, Tara (Raymond) James, Memphis, TN., Jade (Valerie) Mitchell, Kansas City, and Kimber (Kenny) Graf, St. Marys; her brother, Al (Mary) Barranco, Topeka; three grandchildren, Karter, Kylie, and Kenneth Graff III.
Memorial services for Cindy will be after Chris is out of the hospital. Memorial contributions may be made to Venmo kimber-Mitchell-1.
