Virginia L. Parker, 96, died July 25, 2025 at KUMC, Kansas City, Kansas.
She was born October 6, 1928, the daughter of Louis and Matilda (Burns) Dick. A resident of the Maple Hill, Kansas, community before moving to Vintage Park Assisted Living Center in Wamego, Kansas, the last year of her life.
On February 14, 1953, she married William (Bill) Parker at McConnell Air Force Base in Wichita, Kansas. Bill preceded her in death on March 4, 2014.
Survivors include her daughters and their husbands: Brenda (Tom) Schoenecker, Bonnie (Duane) Simon, Jeanne (Russ) Morton, all of Kansas, Kathy (Ron) Juntikka of Michigan. Her son, Carl (Christine) Parker preceded her in death on August 26, 2017. She is also survived by two brothers and their wives: Ralph (Myra) Dick and Walter (Barbara) Dick, 10 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren, and brother-in-law, Robert (Bob) Parker.
She was preceded in death by sisters: Marcella, Beatrice, Roselyn, and Grace, and brothers: Harold, Delbert, Leo, Norbert, and Wayne.
Parish Rosary will be at 7:40 a.m. Saturday, August 2, 2025, at St. John Vianney Church, Maple Hill, Kansas, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 8 a.m. Friends and family may visit from 7:15 a.m. to 7:40 a.m. at the church. Burial will be in the Maple Hill Cemetery following the Mass.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the St. John Vianney Church.
