Robert Myers

Topeka-Robert R. Myers, 90, passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at Aldersgate Village in Topeka. He was born in Clay Center the son of Harry R. and Edith Riggs Myers. Mr. Myers graduated from Clay Center High School, Kansas State University and Washburn School of Law. Bob was a CPA and was a tax lawyer. He later worked for Bank IV in Topeka. Bob met Frieda G. Lasswell in Topeka and they were married in 1952. They had two children; Marla and Harry and later would be blessed with two granddaughters, Kally & Jolie. Mr. Myers was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Marceline Hunter. He was also preceded in death by his loving wife Frieda G. Myers on November 20, 2015. Survivors include her two children, Marla and Harry (Lauren) Myers all of Topeka; his two granddaughters Kally and Jolie Myers and numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at St. Clere Cemetery North of Emmett. Memorial contributions may be made in Mr. Myers name and sent in care of Piper Funeral Home, 714 Maple St., St. Marys, Kansas 66536.
