Harveyville—Phyllis E. Lyddane, 84, passed away Tuesday, August 9, 2022, at Stormont Vail Hospital in Topeka.
Phyllis was born January 15, 1938 in rural Eskridge the daughter of Ellis and Edna Eastman Mossman. She attended rural grade school and graduated from Eskridge Rural High School.
She was a homemaker, farmer, and rancher. In her younger years you would have thought she was Noah’s partner as she had two of every animal she had. She enjoyed sewing and music.
Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Clarence and Frank Mossman, two sisters, Doris Steege and Mary Schiesser, and two infant grandchildren.
On September 20, 1975 Phyllis was married to Gary G. Lyddane. He survives at their home.
Other survivors include her children, Bob (Judy) Logan, Eskridge, Anita Logan, Harveyville, Bill (Jeri) Logan, and Don (Pam) Logan all of Eskridge; 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life service will be at 12:00 P.M. Saturday, August 13, 2022 at Tallgrass Christian Camp, 11908 Old Log House RD., Harveyville. Memorial contributions may be made to Tallgrass Christian Camp or the Donors choice and sent in care of Piper Funeral Home, 714 Maple Street, St. Marys, Kansas 66536.
