Phyllis Davis

St. Marys-Phyllis M. Davis, 89, passed away Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at her home in St. Marys. She was born January 9, 1930 at Belvue the daughter of Albert S. and Pauline Day Heston. On October 12, 1948 she was united in marriage to Herbert L. Davis. He preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Bessie Baker, Albert S. Heston Jr. and James Heston Sr.; two sons, Rodney and Philip Davis. Survivors include two sons, Herbert L Davis, Jr., Rosewood, CA. and Edward (Debby) Davis, Holton; her daughter, Tina (Dave) Cole, St. Marys; two sisters, Almira Catron, Topeka and Lynda Hill, Emmett; 18 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren with one on the way. Funeral Services will be at 2:00 P.M. Monday, April 29, 2019 at Piper Funeral Home in St. Marys. Interment will be in Polly Creek Cemetery near Belvue. Mrs. Davis will lie in state and the family will receive friends on Sunday, April 28, 2019 at the funeral home from 6:00 until 7:30 P.M.
