Marsha Davis

Mayetta-Marsha S. Davis, 54, passed away Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at her rural Mayetta home. She was born February 23, 1962 at Topeka, the daughter of Charles and Shirley Frye. Marsha attended Highland Park High School. Marsha had been a cashier and supervisor at Prairie Band Casino at Mayetta from 1997 until 2007. She later worked for Wal-Mart in Topeka. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Rick Frye. On January 9, 1982 she was united in marriage to Billy Joe Davis in Topeka. He survives of the home. Other survivors include three children, Jennifer (Justin) Mitchell, Holton, Ashley Davis, Mayetta and Joshua Joe (Megan) Davis, St. Marys; two brothers, Charles Frye II and Tim Frye both of Topeka; a sister, Deborah Smith, Topeka; grandchildren, Kailei and Harper Mitchell and Cheyanne and Tucker Joe Davis. Memorial Visitation will be at 10:00 A.M. Friday, January 13, 2017 at Piper Funeral Home in St. Marys. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association and sent in care of the funeral home.
