Marlene Howland

Marlene A. Howland, 65, passed away Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at her rural St. Marys Home. She was born July 3, 1950 at Wellsville, N.Y. the daughter of James K. and Elvera Villa Matteson. She grew up in New York and move to St. Marys in 1992. Mrs. Howland was preceded in death by her parents and a brother. Survivors include her husband, Norman Howland; two daughters, Megan and Alicia and several grandchildren. Requiem Mass will be at 7:00 A.M. Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at Assumption Chapel in St. Marys. A rosary will be recited at 5:20 P.M. Monday, September 21, 2015 at the church. Interment will be in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery, St. Marys Mrs. Howland will lie in state on Monday, September 21, 2015 at Piper Funeral Home from 2:00 until 4:00 P.M.
