Marilyn M. Klein

Marilyn M. (Moylan) Klein, 91, of Shawnee, KS died on Saturday, June 15, 2024. 

Marilyn was born on June 12, 1933 to Daniel and Monica (Gillgannon) Moylan in Emmett, KS, the oldest of 5 children. 

She was preceded in death by husband, Edgar “Ed” Klein, her parents, her brothers, Jerry and Pat Moylan, and her sister, Judith Welch. She is survived by her sister, Mary Arnold of Montgomery, TX; 17 nieces and nephews, all of whom were the pride and joy of her life; and 29 great-nieces and nephews. She is also survived by step-grandchildren, Mark (Lesley) Klein and Paula Klein Donovan, and their children, Joshua and Abigal Klein, Conor and Matthew Donovan. 

At Marilyn’s request, there will be no visitation. A funeral mass will be offered at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Emmett, KS at 10:00 am, Wednesday, June 26th. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in St. Marys, KS. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the ALS Association.
