Marie-Noelle "Lolly" Bordelon, 26, passed away on May 7th, 2023, at her home due to complications from a seizure. Lolly was born on December 27th, 1996, in Alexandria, LA to her loving parents Chad H. and Alice I. Gomez Bordelon. She spent her childhood in Marksville, Fifth Ward, LA and St. Marys, KS and graduated from St. Anthony Catholic Home School.
Lolly had a deep-seated love for attending Holy Mass and receiving Holy Communion. She also had a passion for horses, art, puzzles, Little House On The Prairie, Home Alone, and The Grinch. Lolly knew all the songs on the Muppet Show and Bugsy Malone and loved going to Chuck E. Cheese, but what she loved most was spending time with her best friend - her father, Chad.
Lolly's grandparents, John Floyd Gomez, Jr. and Jaema K. Gomez, preceded her in death.
She is survived by her adoring family, including her parents Chad and Alice, and siblings Allison (Louis) Lindstrom, Mathew (Marilyn) Bordelon, William (Abigail) Bordelon, Aileen Bordelon, Peter (Brynn) Bordelon, Charles Bordelon and Teresa Bordelon. She will also be dearly missed by her nieces and nephews James, Tyler, Pinky, Ava, and Bubbie, along with grandparents Thomas and Bernadine Bordelon.
Loved ones are invited to join the family for the Mass of Christian Burial which will be celebrated at 10am on Sat., May 13, 2023 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Burial will follow afterward at Mt.Calvary Cemetery in St. Marys. To honor Lolly's memory, her family asks for donations to be offered to Mt. Calvary Cemetery, where she and her Gramma are/will be laid to rest. Memorials can be sent to Piper Funeral Home at 714 Maple Street in St.Marys, Kansas 66536. The family will receive friends at Piper Funeral Home on Friday, May 12, 2023 from 5:00 until the Rosary at 7:00 P.M.
Lolly lived with Special Needs; her life had value and she showed the world just how “Special” life is! Lolly will always be remembered for her pure heart, love for the Lord, and her kind and gentle spirit. Her bright smile lit up every room she walked into, and she touched the hearts of all who knew her. She lived with a strong will and a passion to do what is right. May she rest in eternal peace.
