Linda A. Schramek

Linda A. Schramek, born in Holton, Kansas on January 15, 1952, the daughter of Earl and Evelyn Petesch Schramek, passed away Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at a Topeka hospital.

Linda graduated from St. Marys High School in 1970, and also graduated from Vo-Tech in Manhattan.

She retired from the State of Kansas after several years of service.

Linda was preceded in death by her father in 2008.

She is survived by her mother, Evelyn Schramek, of the home; her sister, Lorna (Rick) Bussart of Haslet, TX; a nephew, Jason Bussart, Reno, NV and a niece, Erin Bussart, Georgetown, TX.

Graveside services will be at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, October 10, 2023 at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Topeka.  Linda will lie in state and the family will receive friends on Monday evening, October 9, 2023 at Piper Funeral Home from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association and sent in care of the funeral home.
