Genevieve Watts

Wamego-Genevieve T. Watts, 76, passed away Friday, August 10, 2018 at her home in Wamego. She was born February 2, 1942 at Kirkland Lake, Ontario, Canada the daughter of Alexander and Molly Score Birch. She and her family moved to the United States many years ago. She had worked in customer service. Genevieve was a member of St. Bernards Catholic Church in Wamego. She was married to Richard Watts, he survives. Other survivors include her children, Dorian Watts, Shad (Teresa) Watts, Tania (Henry) Stachyra and Trent (Paula) Watts; her brother, Desmond Birch; 22 grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 A.M. Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at St. Bernards Catholic Church in Wamego. Interment will be in St. Bernards Cemetery, Wamego. Mrs. Watts will lie in state and the family will receive friends Monday, August 13, 2018 at the church from 6:00 until the Rosary at 7:00. Memorials may be made for masses and sent in care of the funeral home.
