Genevieve C. Lenherr

Genevieve C. Lenherr passed away on Sunday, February 26, 2023 in Topeka.

She was born on February 4, 1924, in St. Marys, Kansas the daughter of John and Emma Jacob Kramer.  Genevieve attended Immaculate Conception grade and high schools. She graduated from Strickler Business College in Topeka and worked in Topeka before being the bookkeeper at Keating Motor and Electric of St Marys.

She was married to Leo P. Lenherr in 1971, who preceded her in death. She is survived by his children, Larry, Stephen and Joe, and Patricia Ann Hoobler, Kathryn Neill, Mary Thomas, and Edyne Motley, as well as grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a nephew, Jim Keating.

Genevieve has resided at McCrite Plaza of Topeka since 2007.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, March 7, 2023, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, St. Marys.  A Rosary will be recited at 10:30 A.M. Tuesday at the church.   Inurnment will be in Mt.
