Elda M. Stephenson, 82, passed away Saturday, May 28, 2022, at Stormont Vail Hospital in Topeka.
She was born October 3, 1939, in Powers, CO, the daughter of Frank J. and Doris M. Davis Greeve.
In her early life, Elda worked in nursing homes and was a waitress. She later was the office manager of C & E Motors in Eskridge for many years.
On July 31, 1957, Elda and Clayton Stephenson were united in marriage in Scottsbluff, NE. Clayton preceded her in death on February 26, 2015. Elda was also preceded in death by a brother, Bill Greeve, and her son, James D. “Jim” Stephenson, on March 30. 2009.
Survivors include two sons, Wayne (Ada) Stephenson, Lake Wabaunsee and Lee (Susan) Stephenson, Eskridge; her daughter, Deb (Ben) Meek, Eskridge; two sisters, Margaret (Dave) Ryan, Newton and Deeanna (Darrell) Klee, Cape Girardeau, MO; seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
