Dorothy Hase

Eskridge-Dorothy J. Hase, 85, passed away Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at a Topeka hospital. She was born July 26, 1929 near Eskridge the daughter of Ottie and Eleanor Kraus Shaw. Dorothy grew up in the Eskridge community and graduated from Eskridge High School in 1948. Dorothy was an accountant for the State of Kansas and she and her son Monty had a farming operation together. She was a 60 year member of the Eastern Star. On May 14, 1951 she was united in marriage to Merritt E. Hase. He preceded her in death on March 29, 1982. Mrs. Hase was also preceded in death by infant twins and an infant son, and her parents. Her son Monty Hase of Eskridge survives. Graveside services will be at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, August 16, 2014 at the Eskridge Cemetery, Eskridge, Kansas.
