Belinda Anne Brown, age 75, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family, on September 13, 2025.
Born in Louisiana, Belinda lived a life full of faith, compassion, and unwavering love. Her journey took her across the country and around the world, but she found her final home in Maple Hill, Kansas. A devout woman, Belinda’s greatest passion was prayer, and her faith was the guiding light of her life.
Family meant everything to her. She poured her heart into raising her children and, over the years, extended that same love as a foster mother to many children in need. Her legacy is one of strength, generosity, and enduring grace.
In 1976, Belinda married the love of her life, Raymond Brown. Together, they built a life centered on faith, family, and service — a bond that remained unshaken until his passing in 2022.
Belinda is survived by her brother, Kenny Wayne Holly; her sons, Matthew Brown (Staci) and Mark Brown; and her daughters, Melissa, Mindy, Maggie, Angela, Elizabeth, Rebecca, Anna‑Marie Brown, Emily Cantelmi (Michael), and Kathleen Walker (Benjamin).
She was a proud grandmother to James (Sidney), Justin, Isabelle, Lauren, Madison, Claire Brown, Oliver Brown‑Wallace, Leon, Lucia, Silvana Cantelmi, Alexandria, and Thomas Walker, and a loving great‑grandmother to Aven and Hayley Brown.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Raymond Brown; her daughter, Victoria; her mother, Mary McCollum; and two brothers.
