Alice DeMarrias

Alice Grace DeMarrias, 85, passed away Sunday, September 15, 2013 at the St. Marys Manor.

She was born January 18, 1928 at Colony, the daughter of Fred L. and Martha B. Myers. Alice graduated from the University of Kansas and later Emporia State University. She was a teacher and taught in many locations. She spent many years near Rapid City, SD teaching high school English on the Sioux Indian Reservation. Alice moved to Silver Lake in 2007 and later to the St. Marys Manor.

Memorial services will be at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at the St. Marys Manor Chapel, St. Marys. Inurnment will be in the Yates Center Cemetery at a later date.
