Jeffrey Peek

Jeffrey John Peek, 59, passed away Thursday, December 2, 2021, at Midland Hospice House in Topeka.

He was born September 26, 1962, in Wanganui, New Zealand the son of Theodorus and Alida VanWamel Peek.  He grew up and had lived in New Zealand before moving to the US.  Jeffrey and Susan Millovitsch were united in marriage on April 1, 1989, in St. Marys.  They moved to New Zealand and lived there before moving back to St. Marys in 2011.

Jeffrey was a classical guitar instructor and had worked at The Onyx Collection in Belvue.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Daniel.

Survivors include his wife, Susan of the home; children, Theresa, Anthony (Anne), Catherine Fitzhenry (Brendan), Sister Marie-Celine, Joseph (Abby), William, Michael (Olivia), Anastasia, Stephen, James and Margaret; three brothers, Paul Peek, Fr. James Peek, and Fr. Frank Peek; and nine grandchildren.

Requiem Mass will be at 11:15 A.M. Tuesday, December 7, 2021, at Assumption Chapel.  Interment will be in Our Lady Of Peace Cemetery, St. Marys.  A rosary will be recited at 5:20 P.M. Monday, December 6, 2021, at Assumption Chapel.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Immaculata Building Fund and sent in care of Piper Funeral Home, 714 Maple Street, St. Marys, Kansas 66536.
