Galen L. Mote, 88, of Topeka, died on Thursday, January 22 at Shawnee Post Acute and Rehabilitation Center in Overland Park.

A memorial gathering with the rendering of military honors will take place from 1:00-2:00 PM on Friday, January 30, 2026 at Mount Hope Cemetery Chapel, 4700 SW 17th St., Topeka KS 66604. Interment will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
