Onaga-Alexander “Alex” L. Peters, infant son of Shantel Peters passed away Thursday, January 21, 2010 at Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, MO. He was born on May 16, 2009 in Topeka.

Survivors include his mother and step-father, Shantel Peters and Chris Jones Onaga; a brother, Christopher Peters; his grandmother, Carolyn Peters, Onaga, grandfather, Lee Peters, Holton, Step-grandparents, Kenny and Helen Jones, Soldier; great-grandmother, Edna Prokopt, in Arkansas.

Memorial services will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, January 23, 2010 at the Onaga Community Center. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alex Peters Memorial Fund and sent in care of Piper Funeral Home 714 Maple St. Marys, Kansas 66536.
